A bamboo floor lamp that draws light across the room
Standing directly on the floor, this bamboo floor lamp doesn't just light a room, it dresses it. Hand-woven strips form a lattice of diamonds that the light passes through, casting a shower of small warm shadows across the nearest wall. By evening, a spindle of woven bamboo becomes the calm point of a sitting room, a bedroom or a hallway.
A lattice woven by hand
The body is bamboo, worked strip by strip into a tight lattice that flares gently before narrowing again onto a small wooden base. It stands 93cm tall and 28cm at its widest, roughly worktop height, low enough to sit beside a sofa without crowding it. Three finishes give three different characters: Natural Bamboo for the warmth of raw cane, White for a softer, lighter room, Black for graphic contrast. Since each piece is woven by hand, the pattern varies slightly from one lamp to the next.
A filtered light, never harsh
Light doesn't fall directly, it filters through thousands of small openings. Choose the tone at the time of order: warm white for an end-of-day mood, cool white for a clear, contemporary feel, or three colour temperatures to move between the two as the day changes. It suits a room of roughly 10 to 15 square metres as an ambient light, alongside a ceiling light or as the only source in the evening.
Freestanding, plug in and go
No assembly, no drilling, no electrician required. The lamp arrives fully built and simply stands on the floor. It takes a standard E27 fitting and comes with the LED bulb included, rated 6 to 10W for 249 to 2000 lumens. A round switch sits on the cable, within easy reach without having to bend down. Wired for 90 to 260V, it suits UK 230V mains, and carries CE and RoHS certification. Not compatible with a dimmer switch.
