A bedroom pendant light with a globe you can turn by hand

A glossy lacquered ball held in a metal stirrup, hung from a black cable: this bedroom pendant light fits in the palm of a hand yet gives a whole corner its colour. Tilt the globe and the light follows.

The globe measures 12 cm across, in lacquered aluminium with a deep, glossy finish. It pivots between the two arms of a dark polished-metal ring that holds it like a stone in its setting. The whole fitting stands just 22 cm tall, a small, graphic silhouette that never crowds a bedroom corner. Six colours are available: burgundy red, pine green, yellow, gold, orange and anthracite grey.

Light you aim yourself

The front opens onto a circle of light ringed in gold, closed with a frosted acrylic lens that softens the beam. Three white temperatures are available, from the warmest to the clearest, moving from a late-evening glow to a light fit for reading. It covers roughly 3 to 5 m², ideal for a bedside table, a console, a desk corner or the head of a bed, alone or hung in twos or threes.

Installation and technical details

The 12 W LED source is integrated, so there is no bulb to buy or replace. The 150 cm black cable can be shortened at fitting, so the globe hangs at exactly the right height above a surface. Wired for 90 to 260 V, it suits UK 230 V mains. It connects to an existing ceiling point and has no dimming function.
