A bedroom wall light where a fissure of warm light wakes the stone
One touch is enough to wake the stone. This bedroom wall light lets a vein of warm light run along a hand-carved fissure, like an ember resting deep in the rock. At a bedside, along a hallway or beside an armchair, it sets an intimate glow and a mineral presence, true to the wabi-sabi spirit that celebrates raw beauty.
A hand-shaped lava stone, piece by piece
Shaped in solid resin over a wrought iron frame, each wall light echoes the irregular grain of Spanish lava stone. The relief, carved and deliberately imperfect, evokes raw stone cut by hand, fully in the wabi-sabi spirit. Slender and upright at 39.5 cm tall by 10 cm wide, it sits close to the wall without crowding it. Four natural finishes are available: terracotta, light stone, stone grey and raw wood.
Light escaping through the fissure
The integrated LED lighting sends its glow through the irregular crack that runs across the stone, up and down, for a soft halo laid on the wall. Depending on the version chosen, the light stays a warm white throughout or adjusts across three colour temperatures, from softest to brightest. Well suited as a bedside light, a hallway wall light, above a console table or either side of a bed, it sets a hushed mood in a room of 3 to 7 m².
Ready to fit, light included
Supplied with its 12W integrated LED light, the wall light fixes to the wall without assembly and wires to the mains (110 to 220V) like a standard wall light. Designed for indoor use, it is not intended for damp rooms and weighs around 1.3kg. The parcel contains one wall light and its bag of fixing accessories.
