A wall light that makes you smile
A little figure in lacquered iron sits on its swing, legs dangling, carrying its bulb the way you'd carry a lantern. This wall light does more than light a stretch of wall, it gives it a small presence, the kind of detail you notice walking in and stop for a second to look at.
A design drawn entirely in wire
Everything holds in a few lines. A round plate flat against the wall, a slightly arched bar that curls back down at both ends, two thin rods running down in parallel, and at the bottom a flat seat: the swing. The figure sits there, a drop-shaped body, wire arms ending in small beads, legs hanging free. The structure is in glossy lacquered iron and the whole piece stands 48 cm tall. Three finishes are available, black, white or red, with the two hanging rods staying black across all three.
A round light, at eye level
The figure has no head: the bulb takes its place. It is the bulb that lights the room, in a soft glow that settles on the wall rather than sweeping across it, covering an area of 3 to 5 m². It suits a reading corner, an entrance, a bedroom, or a bare stretch of wall above a bench seat. The two-figure version places them side by side on the same swing, hand in hand, and doubles the light.
Fits on a wall, without complication
The fitting is through the round plate, onto a standard wall power point. It takes an E27 bulb, runs on 90 to 260V, with no dimmer. Wired for 90 to 260V, it suits UK 230V mains. You can choose at order to receive it without a bulb if you'd rather keep your own, with a warm white 3000K bulb for an amber glow, or with a cool white 6000K bulb for a clearer light.
