A brass wall light whose curved arm reaches for the light

A brass rod rises from the wall, arches like a cane, then lets a small cone drop from its curve. This brass wall light holds its whole shape in just 38 centimetres, enough to mark a corner or a landing. The metal is left unlacquered, so it keeps its living shine and the soft variation that brass earns over time.

A brass crook, a metal cone

The round 12 cm back plate pairs a slightly domed polished brass disc with a ring in light wood tone on the Ecru version or black lacquer on the Black version. A fine rod rises on the diagonal, curls into a crook, then drops to a knuckle joint. The shade is a matt lacquered metal cone, 14 cm high and 10 cm wide at the opening. The whole fixture stands 38 cm high.

Light aimed exactly where you want it

A quarter turn loosens the knuckle joint and the cone tilts. Angled down, it lays a clean circle of light on a console or a worktop; tilted up, it washes the wall in a halo. Coverage runs around 1 to 3 m², so this is a task light rather than a general one. Four light colours are available: warm white 3000K, the most enveloping in the evening; cool white 6000K for a work corner; neutral white 4500K in between; or a three-temperature bulb to switch between all three.

Wired to the wall, bulb included

The fixture wires directly to the mains, with no cord, plug or switch of its own, so plan for a wall connection. The fitting is a standard E14, and a 9W LED bulb is included in the light colour you choose. It runs on 90 to 260 V, which suits UK 230 V mains. The brightness is not dimmable. It mounts in two steps: the plate screwed to the wall, then the arm fitted on.
