A ceiling light that draws its own shadows across the room
Three cylinders of hand-woven paper cord, hung just below the plaster or lowered on a pendant. Once lit, this ceiling light lets a golden light filter through the weave and lays a pattern of open shadow across the ceiling, gentle as a wicker shade at dusk.
A natural weave on a frame that steps back
Each shade is built thread by thread from straw-toned woven paper cord, set on a matt black metal frame. The round base, Ø30cm, sits close to the ceiling, while the three heads, offset slightly in height, form an organic cluster rather than a straight line. Each cylinder measures Ø12cm x 15cm. The matt black and the pale fibre give a contrast that suits a Japandi room as easily as a relaxed sitting room.
Filtered light, adjusted to the room
The open weave diffuses the light rather than pointing it: it passes through the gaps, warms the walls, and animates the ceiling. Choose the tone, warm white 3000K for a hushed evening, or cool white 6000K for a sharper light over a worktop or desk. Three separate sources spread an even glow across a hallway, a dining corner, a bedroom or a landing.
Two mounting options, a straightforward fit
Depending on your ceiling height, fit it semi-flush, close to the plaster (roughly 25cm total, suited to lower ceilings), or as a pendant, on a rod adjustable up to 150cm. Three standard E27 sockets take bulbs up to 60W. Depending on the tone chosen, the bulb comes included, in warm or cool white, or you can choose your own with the no-bulb version. Wired for 90 to 260 V, it suits UK 230 V mains. It mounts to the ceiling with the round plate supplied, no transformer or special part required.
