A coloured glass pendant light above the dining table
It has the full roundness of a pebble and the softness of a paper lantern. The glass is coloured through and through, deep, almost lacquered, and it catches daylight the way ceramic does. Hung alone or in pairs above the table, this coloured glass pendant light gives a meal that warm point of colour that pale rooms often lack.
Solid glass, three silhouettes
The shade is thick, opaque, glossy coloured glass, mounted on an iron plate. Three sizes, each in its own tone: Ø 40 x H 31 cm in amber, a wide pebble shape for a whole table, Ø 30 x H 25 cm in moka, the same roundness more discreet, and Ø 22 x H 43 cm in olive green, a slender lantern that suits a trio or a spot along a worktop. All three pair together without ever repeating.
A light directed down toward the table
Beneath the shade, a white opaline diffuser closes the opening. It softens the light point and directs the glow downward, onto the tablecloth and plates, without glaring at anyone seated opposite. The coloured glass stays opaque: the colour reads on the object, not on the walls. The lit zone covers roughly 5 to 10 m², suiting a dining corner, a kitchen island or a bedside.
Installation and compatibility
The pendant fixes to the ceiling with a plate, on a 150 cm cable that you shorten to the height you need, typically 70 to 80 cm above the tabletop. It takes a bulb with an E27 fitting, a single light point, on 90 to 260 V, wired for UK 230 V mains without a transformer or special housing. The bulb isn't included, which leaves you free to choose its white temperature, from the warmest to the most neutral. Choose a non-dimmable bulb if your circuit has no dimmer.
