A coloured glass pendant light that stacks like sweets in a jar

Glass beads threaded onto a single rod, resting one on top of the other. This coloured glass pendant light comes in deep smoked grey, opal cream, tomato red and soft olive glass, and light passes through the glass to bring out its colour.

Painted metal collars, glass beads in three shapes

Each bead is a piece of coloured glass with deep reflections, cut as an elongated oval, a round ball or a flat pebble. They stack on a vertical rod, separated by slim black painted metal collars. You choose the arrangement: two beads for a height of 37 cm, three beads for 37 to 39 cm, four beads for 50, 59 or 69 cm. The diameter stays discreet, 16 or 18 cm depending on the composition.

Light that travels through colour

Inside each bead, a slim vertical light bar illuminates the glass from its core. Opal cream gives a soft clarity, smoked grey warms the room, red and olive lay a touch of colour on the ceiling. Three colour temperatures are available: warm white 3000K for a dinner, neutral white 4000K above a worktop, cool white 6000K for a desk corner. Above a round table, a kitchen island or a reading side table, several pendants hung at staggered heights form a lit row.

Fitting and everyday details

The LED is integrated: no bulb to buy, none to replace, and nothing protrudes from the glass. Wired for 90 to 260 V, it suits UK 230 V mains, and the pendant connects to a standard ceiling rose on a round black plate. The cable is shortened at installation to set the exact height. Brightness is not dimmable. Allow one pendant per 5 to 10 m² of room.
