A flat ceiling light that drops just five centimetres from the plaster
Some rooms have no height to spare. This flat ceiling light fits without taking any: five centimetres deep, a folded metal pentagon, and a wide sheet of light that spreads without a hot spot.
A pentagon folded like a sheet of paper
The body is a lacquered metal sheet, folded into five unequal triangular facets that meet along crisp edges. At the centre sits a broad opal acrylic panel, pentagonal too, turned a fifth of a turn against the frame, so every point of one falls at the middle of an edge of the other. That offset is what gives it depth, and it reads differently through the day. Seven satin lacquers to choose from: white, grey, black, sage green, blue, pink, yellow.
Broad, settled light, no glare
The diffuser covers almost the whole face, so light leaves in a sheet rather than a beam. Four sizes match four room volumes: 30cm for 5 to 8m², 40cm for 8 to 12m², 50cm for 12 to 16m², 60cm for 14 to 20m². The colour temperature is chosen at the time of order: warm white 2900 to 3200K for a bedroom, neutral white 4000 to 4500K for a sitting room, cool white 6000 to 6500K for a home office. The remote-controlled version shifts continuously between warm and cool.
Nothing to screw in, nothing to replace
The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to buy and no fitting to match. The plate fixes to the ceiling on a standard cable outlet, and the body then closes over it. It runs on 90 to 265 V, so it suits UK 230 V mains, with a colour rendering index above 85. On the remote-controlled version, the infrared handset works up to 5 to 8 metres, and two fittings in the same room will answer to the same remote.
