A gold candle wall light that carves the light into shape
Candles set upon a spray of acanthe leaves, and the wall stops being flat. This gold candle wall light borrows the scrolling, leaf-tipped vocabulary of 18th-century rocaille design to cast a warm halo above a sofa, a console, or a headboard.
A cast, gilded design in two sizes
The backplate is cast metal in a single piece, finished in a uniform bright gold, tapering to a leaf-shaped point. The 3-light version measures 36 cm wide by 72 cm high, with a tall central arm flanked by two lower scrolled arms. The 2-light version repeats the same design on two arms, in a smaller format of around 22 x 48 cm. Each arm ends in an acanthe-crowned holder that carries a faux candle with cast drip detail.
Candlelight, without the flame
The E14 flame-tip bulbs are included and cast a warm light upward, which travels across the wall and reveals the relief of the scrollwork. Allow roughly 3 to 5 m² per fixture. Hung alone above an armchair, it becomes a single evening point of light. Hung in a pair either side of a painting, a mirror, or a bed, it sets the rhythm for the whole room.
Wired to the mains
The light fixes to the wall by its backplate and wires to the mains through a two-wire connection, live and neutral, like any standard wall point. Voltage 110-220 V, E14 sockets. There is no cord or switch on the body; it is controlled from the room's wall switch. If the chosen spot has no wiring point yet, have a qualified electrician run one.
