A hallway wall light that wakes up the passage
A perfectly round disc set against the wall, a small dome hanging in front of it, and light sliding down towards the floor. This hallway wall light fits in the palm of a hand, 12 cm wide by 18.5 cm tall, and is still enough to give colour to the quietest passage in the house. Four solid tones, from the softest cream to the boldest brick red, let you choose the note that suits you.
A disc and a dome, lacquered through and through
The body is lacquered iron, a solid finish that keeps its crisp edges. The round wall plate measures 12 cm across, the whole fixture projects only 11.5 cm from the wall, and stands 18.5 cm tall. The lacquer covers the shade inside and out, so no factory white shows through when you pass beneath it. Cream, terracotta and brick red are gloss finishes that catch the daylight, while matt black keeps a velvety surface that recedes against a dark wall.
A warm light, aimed downward
The dome opens towards the floor. Light falls in a soft pool along the wall, without glaring at anyone crossing the hallway at night. The included LED bulb gives a warm white of 2700-3500K, the tone that warms a light plaster wall or a wooden floor without yellowing colours. A single fixture comfortably lights an area of 3 to 5 m², which also makes it a good reading light above a bedside table, or a rhythmic row above a worktop.
Fitting and technical details
The wall light fixes by its round plate and wires directly into the mains, with no visible cord or plug, then switches on from your wall switch. It accepts the full 90 to 260V range, so is wired for UK 230V mains. The fitting is a standard E27, with its warm white LED bulb already in the box, replaceable anywhere when the day comes. Brightness is not adjustable and the wall light has no built-in switch.
