A large wall light that draws a line of crystal across the wall

Two blades of cut crystal cross over a gold plated spine, and light runs through them from within. This large wall light doesn't just brighten a wall, it draws on it. At night each facet catches like a small ember, and the glow spills up and down.

The frame is worked in iron, finished in a bright gold plating that runs the full length of each blade. The front face is set with tight rows of cut crystal blocks laid at an angle, like scales, and it's this texture that catches the light and multiplies it. The two blades sit offset, one passing behind the other, and their crossing traces a long, shifting X depending on the angle you view it from. Expect 3 to 12kg depending on the size chosen.

A light that climbs and falls

Two LED sources sit behind the crystal and cast light both up and down, so the wall carries two soft halos rather than a single patch of brightness. The tone is chosen at the time of order: warm white at 3000K for a bedroom or an evening hallway, neutral white at 4000K for a sitting room, cool white at 6000K for a workspace, or a version with all three colour temperatures together. Sized for a room of roughly 5 to 10 square metres, it suits a hallway, a console table, either side of a mirror, or a large bare stretch of wall.

Sizes, mounting and wiring

Two vertical heights are available, H 50cm and H 100cm, alongside three long formats, L 100cm, L 120cm and L 150cm. The LED is integrated behind the crystal, so there is no separate bulb to buy. The fitting is hardwired to the wall and mains supply, rated 90 to 260V, and suits UK 230V mains. Brightness is fixed rather than dimmable: the tone is set at the point of order, not adjusted afterwards.
