A mini pendant light where the light seems to freeze into drops

Beneath a walnut wood cap, a fringe of translucent acrylic holds the light and lets it fall in drops. This mini pendant light, just 20 cm across, fits where a larger fixture won't, above a round table, a sideboard or a dressing counter, and still gives the room a genuine focal point.

A walnut cap, a frosted skirt

The cap is a shallow cone in walnut-stained wood, with clear grain, topped with a wooden ball threaded on a fine black cord. Beneath its edge, a skirt of clear acrylic with an icy texture closes into drops of uneven length, like stalactites caught mid-freeze. At the centre, a short gold rod carries a second wooden ball as a pendant. The whole piece measures Ø 20 cm, discreet even in a small room.

Three whites, light broken into pieces

The source is an integrated LED module, a diffusing disc set under the cap that lights downward without a hard point of glare. The light then passes through the acrylic fringe and scatters in flecks across a polished surface or a pale wall, especially once night falls. The module offers three whites, from warm to cool. One piece is enough above a side table; hang two or three together to run the length of a sideboard or a worktop.

What to know before installing it

The LED is integrated into the fixture, so there is no bulb to buy, and none to replace later. It connects at the ceiling by cord, just like an ordinary light point, and runs on 90 to 260 V. Wired for 90 to 260 V, it suits UK 230 V mains. The pendant isn't dimmable and switches on from your wall switch. CE and RoHS certified.
