A piece of weathered solid wood, a veil of ecru fabric, and light climbing the wall as if at dusk. This solid wood wall light sets a calm, sculptural presence in a room, somewhere between medieval spirit and wabi-sabi stillness. It does more than light a space, it settles an atmosphere.
Solid rubberwood and a fabric shade
The body is carved from solid rubberwood, warm-grained and natural to the touch, mounted upright against the wall. It carries an ecru fabric shade that softens the light. Two silhouettes are available: the Drum, wide and enveloping (23 x 20 cm), and the Column, slender and graphic (Ø 15 x 32 cm). Each piece keeps the small irregularities of real wood, true to the wabi-sabi idea of imperfect beauty.
A glow that rises and falls
Open at the top and bottom, the shade lets light lick the wall towards the ceiling and the floor alike. The result is a soft double halo, well suited to bedtime reading, a hushed sitting room corner, a hallway or an entrance you want to feel welcoming after dark. Depending on the version chosen, the light stays a warm white throughout, or shifts from warm white to neutral white to natural white, to match the mood to the hour.

The wall light simply fixes to the wall, no assembly required. It arrives ready to plug in, with a built-in switch: no complicated wiring, no callout needed. It takes a supplied E14 LED bulb (5W), runs on the domestic mains (220V), and comes with a two-year guarantee. Designed for dry indoor spaces, it comfortably lights an area of 2 to 5 m².
