A wood base, a bulb that seems to hover
The wood base, roughly 15 x 3 cm, carries the grain visibly across its surface, warming the piece against the cooler glass of the bulb above. The bulb itself measures around 11 x 6 cm and takes on the retro silhouette of an Edison filament bulb, spinning gently as it hovers. The floating bulb is powered by electromagnetic induction, giving a stable light with no visible wire between base and bulb. Its colour temperature adjusts across 2700K to 5000K, moving from a soft, warm glow for winding down to a cooler, more neutral light suited to focused work.
