A white pleated fabric pendant light that reads as a still wave
A single veil of pleated fabric, stretched over its frame and bent into one long ripple, like cloth caught by the wind. This white pleated fabric pendant light weighs nothing to the eye: it draws a still wave beneath the ceiling and lets a soft light settle over the table.
A pleated veil bent into a wave
The white fabric is pleated into fine, radiating ribs that run from the central hub out to the edge, on both faces. The whole rim is finished with a bound edge, stitched in small regular segments that trace the curve. Two lobes lift, two lobes fall: seen from the side, the shade reads as a long S. Choose it in Ø 43 cm or Ø 60 cm, as a single veil at 8 cm in height, or as two stacked, offset veils that bring the total to 16 cm. The fabric is stretched over a white lacquered metal frame, under 4 kg on the scale.
A light softened by the fabric
At the centre underneath, a milky white oval diffuser drops through a round opening. It casts a clear pool of light directly below, while the pleated veil takes the rest of the glow and turns it into a soft light running across the whole wave. Five settings to choose at order: Warm White 3000K for the evening, Neutral White 4200K for a living space, Cool White 6500K for a crisper rendering, Three Colour Temperatures to switch between them, or Dimmable, whose included bulb accepts intensity adjustment. Suited to 8 to 12 square metres, it belongs above a dining table, in a sitting room or a bedroom.
Two mountings, a simple fitting
The pendant version connects to a round Ø 14 cm ceiling rose and drops on three thin adjustable cables, up to 150 cm, set to the height wanted during fitting. The flush ceiling version fixes directly against the ceiling on a short rod and drops only 24 cm in total, suited to low ceilings. E27 socket and a 12W LED bulb included: there is no bulb to buy. Wired for 90 to 260 V, it suits UK 230 V mains, connecting to the existing ceiling wiring.
